Highland family,
I have been praying for you throughout the day. I look forward to seeing each of you and to gather together around the Word of God with you.
See you in the morning,

“There is a certain enthusiasm in liberty, that makes human nature rise above itself, in acts of bravery and heroism.” - Alexander Hamilton
To all who have served, thank you for your dedicated bravery. Your willingness to serve and protect us means so much.
Highland Community Church has been approached by God-fearing men who see the glory of our Lord revealed in the work of Highland. They have asked to assist us by helping us gain a facility to serve the various roles our church plays within the North Highland neighborhood.
The plan has been underway for years! It took a great amount of time to pray and search out the direction our Lord would have us take. Plus, we had to acquire enough property continuous with our current lots to even consider building where we are currently located.
At the start of this year, we acquired enough property to get serious about moving forward with fundraising. It initiated in March of 2018 and we now have just over 1.2 million dollars committed toward the project! Wow! I remain in a constant state of awe. We are working to raise 2 million dollars, total.
Highland, we have committed to raising $25,000 toward this goal. This amount is above regular tithes and offerings. I ask that you consider contributing to this work of God unfolding before our very eyes. To give, you can notate on your offering-envelope on Sunday mornings that your gift is to be offered to the building campaign, or you can give online. Please select “building fund” as your cause from the menu at the top of the screen. Thank you to all who have already contributed. I am excited to take this journey with you.
I love you. I am grateful for you.
To Him be all glory,
Rob
Highland family, tomorrow we will continue to see how the devoted love of Ruth reflects how we are to care for family member’s during times of great concern. If you would like to catch up, the sermon is available on our website from last week.
We will also continue to pray, asking the Lord to grant us revival, by way of Him responding to our broken and repentant hearts. Let this brokenness produce within us a hunger and a thirst for righteousness that causes us to rejoice over the Word and work of God, for His name.
Join us. I look forward to seeing you.
I love you,
Rob
Can’t wait to see everyone!

Edgewood,
I am so thankful to have you in our corner and to call you partners in the eternal work of advancing the Kingdom of God. I think I speak for Highland and Truth Spring when I say: we are so thankful for your loving and devoted support!
It is our sole desire to use what is provided to love of our neighbor, bringing honor to our Lord. I also want you to know how much we enjoyed being part the service today and the barbecue following was such a blessing to so many!
Finally, it was so meaningful to be able to hold baptism during service today. James and Luke will remember today forever, and they will remain in the care of our Lord all the days of their lives.
May the Lord continually and richly bless you with His presence and direction. May the Holy Spirit hold you together, in one accord, through every season you encounter.
Blessings & Love, Edgewood. See you next October.
Rob
Highland Family,
This Sunday, the Breakfast Choir and the some of the members of the Praise Team will be taking part in our annual Love Indeed Service, held at Edgewood Baptist Church. We are a church plant of Edgewood and this service provides us a chance to rejoice over all the Lord has accomplished, together. Any and all are welcome to join us at Edgewood. The Service starts at 10:30am.
Services will be held at Highland, too. Our 11am service will be taking place. Billy Holbrook will be leading worship and Chris Dubose will be preaching.
Once both services finish around noon, we will all enjoy a BBQ lunch at Highland. Both Edgewood and Highland will be taking part in this picnic. So, feel free to come and enjoy a plate of BBQ and a beautiful day.
I love you.
Can’t wait to see you this weekend,
Rob
