It's the Most Wonderful Time of The Year!

Highland Family,

So great to be together today! Each opportunity we have to gather and worship our Lord is so precious to me - even more so as the years go by, too.

I wanted to remind you about upcoming events I mentioned this morning for this Christmas Season. Click the box below to sign up to assist during these opportunities to impart the love of Christ to so many!

Also, thanks to those who are binging in bottles of dish soap for our Boxes of Love collection! Let’s continue with our effort. Finally, do not forget that you can begin signing up folks to receive a Box of Love next Monday. You can email Megan or call the church.

Highland, I love to see us work together. I am grateful for all that you do to love one another, in honor of our Lord.

Have a great week.

One mind, one voice,

Rob

Reflection Questions from our Communion Service:

  1. Is my soul’s one desire to know Christ and the power of His resurrection?

  2. If not, what is rivaling with that desire?

  3. Does my life display a strength that is found in a quiet-confidence?

“My goal is to know Him and the power of His resurrection” (Phi 3:4-11).

“For the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, has said: “You will be delivered by repenting and resting; your strength will lie in quiet confidence” (Isa 30:12-18).

Warmth Offered by the Hands of Love.

I got a call yesterday from someone at Pierce Chapel. She said that a dear friend from church, who has arthritis, wanted to use her ability to knit to offer those in need something warm for the winter. She then knitted 6 trash bags of hats and scarves!! Wow! The love of Christ compels us to love others the way we are loved by Him. Seeing that love pour out of His people is one the greatest privileges I have in life.

Grateful,

Rob
