Jack’s Baptism

Sharing in the baptism of Jack last Sunday was an unforgettable experience. To see him so longingly look into the heavens while being submersed into the waters of baptism is a moment I will never forget. Let’s continue to rally around Jack in love and in prayer, Highland. Let us continue to look to the Lord; for He is our strong Redeemer. His love conquers sin. His love endures. His love is eternal.

Continuing through Matthew — Chapter eight

Matthew 8:23—34

This Sunday, we will continue through Matthew 8. The central question we continue to answer is: How do we respond to the authority of the name of Jesus? At this point in Matthew’s Gospel, we observe varying responses to His Lordship. Boiling it all down to application, how are you responding to the authority of the name of Jesus? ! Last Sunday’s sermon is available through our website; please feel free to check out our audio page to hear it.

community bible study starting in columbus

Kathy Jordan has brought to my attention an exciting opportunity! Columbus is being afforded a Biblically-rich experience! Community Bible Study, which is a broad ministry, is opening a chapter locally. Furthermore, the study will be through the Gospel of Matthew!

As Kathy and I have discussed the content and I have also reviewed the material, it’s evident that this could prove to be such a meaningful time for community, study and growth! The Bible Study will be held at Christ Community Church, starting August 28th, at 9:30am. For more information, please click here, or, speak with Kathy Jordan.
