Among great gifts (including this hat I'm wearing from Noah & Emma), Luke got me a Kindle for Christmas. Learned about and downloaded Jonathan Edwards’ Resolutions. Read and really resonated with this resolution: “Resolved, not only to refrain from an air of dislike, fretfulness, and anger in conversation, but to exhibit an air of love, cheerfulness and benignity.” Holding onto this one going into 2026.

It is my personal desire to be even more devoted in my love to you, Highland, as we enter the new year. How I rejoice over the Lord’s goodness to me, affording me the absolute privilege to serve you, for His Name! I do not take this role lightly.
Oh, that He may equip me to serve you in ways that result in His glory and your good! May His purposes prevail and His glory resound throughout the life of Highland Community Church in 2026!
